The clinic featured in this article is a paradise where the art of dermatology, cosmetics, and skincare converge in a relaxing environment that aims to provide an unforgettable experience for the patient. Its design intertwines notes of luxury and serenity. The Skin Clinic, led by Dr. Anastasia Drohan, is located in Panama City, specifically in Punta Pacifica Hospital.
Inspired by the textures and allure of creams and facial products, its interior design adopts a minimalist approach creating a sophisticated and relaxing atmosphere, using a palette of earth tones, off-whites, and neutral colors.

Timelessness is sought through the combination of the organic elegance of stone and the natural beauty of wood. When the patient crosses the doors of the clinic, they are immersed in a warm and comfortable climate that invites them to escape from routine.
A sanctuary focused on comprehensive patient care
At the heart of The Skin Clinic is the reception area, conceived as a sanctuary displaying the clinic’s commitment to comprehensive patient care. Details such as flowers or eucalyptus, meticulously placed at different points in the space, provide the environment with a subtle botanical charm, like a breath of fresh air that connects us with nature, maintaining a feminine, refreshing aesthetic and full of vitality. In order to capture the five senses of its visitors, soft instrumental music floats in the air, promoting the feeling of inner peace.

On one hand, the treatment rooms, intimate and private, become an oasis of soft tones that envelop the environment. The lighting is carefully regulated to produce a gentle glow that enhances the space and relaxes the patient.
The only space that has natural light is the main office, oriented towards the facade, which is why a louver design is proposed at the back of the hallway, allowing the filtered entry of light into the clinic’s circulation space.

An atmosphere full of peace and mystery
Soft, diffuse lighting is a constant throughout the clinic. The clean lines create a feeling of order and rigor, which reflects the professionalism and experience of the staff who run the clinic. The design favors a calm transition between spaces, allowing patients to navigate the clinic in a very serene and unhurried manner. A set of lights is proposed that combines whiter technical lighting, necessary to carry out the study and treatment of patients, and warmer, ornamental light.
Strategically placed lighting fixtures illuminate the reception area, treatment rooms and hallways, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We highlight the Flauta Riga wall light by Flos, the Origo pendant lamp by David Pompa and the wall lamps by Bocci. The play of light and shadow creates depth and generates a certain mystery. While natural light is limited, the design embraces its capabilities and transforms them into an opportunity for beauty and introspection.
Finishes typical of an oasis
As for the finishes, continuity is maintained throughout the different rooms of the clinic. The stone-like floor is specified with Storm Rock White porcelain tile. The walls are covered with gray wooden paneling, as well as monolayer. To accentuate some areas, the Neolith Calacatta Royale marble finish is used. The doors blur into the surface of the walls, sharing material and finish.
The bathroom sink top is proposed in a Neolith Calista Ultrasoft finish, combined with Kohler taps and accessories from the Components and Purist lines, in a brushed bronze finish, all of which are available at Cochez. The furniture that is arranged throughout the different rooms has been custom designed to make the most of each corner.

The Skin Clinic thus becomes much more than a place for dermatological treatments. Through an ingenious play with light, the space comes to life and becomes a sanctuary for the mind, body and soul. Each element of the composition has been carefully selected to ensure that patients feel cared for and pampered in an environment more typical of a spa. The integration of clean aesthetics, warm textures, and dedication to comprehensive patient care create a space where beauty and serenity meet, leaving visitors refreshed and prepared to face the outside world with confidence.
